HISTORY AND CULTURE :
In the late 1940s, an exhibition was organized and hosted by novel organizations such as the Phoenix Symphony Orchestra and the Phoenix Art Museum to showcase art to allow artists and tourists to visit and exhibit their skills.
Presently, the area has grown to be a resort to provide several fine art facilities under the flag of Phoenix Art Museum that has housed a collection of more than 13,000 art pieces, including a majexhibitionion of Southwestern art. The Heard Museum has accommodated more than 75,000 Southwestern Native American art pieces. The Arizona Science Center, a complex including exhibit halls, a planetarium, and a big-screen cinema, were established in 1997, making Phoenix one of the most significant art exhibition places.
PHOENIX - VALLEY OF THE SUN :
This name depicts the climate of the region. Being situated in the Sonoran Desert, the city of Phoenix is extexceptionallynny and warm. It receives little rainfall in a year. Apart from the weather, the name also takes its origin from the valley in which the city lies, i.e., the Salt River Valley. The summers in this valley are incredibly long and hot, while winters are short and warm. It receives at least 3,500 hours of bright sunshine per year that is one of the highest recorded hours of sun exposure in the world. Additionally, Phoenix experiences sunshine for around 300 days out of the 365 days in a year. Naturally, the temperature stays highly high to 100 days crossing 100°F.
